Dr. Corea is a consultant to the World Bank and currently based in Tokyo, Japan. Prior to his current position he was a Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., and lead the firm’s IT consulting practice in Sri Lanka. Prior to embarking on a full time consulting career in 1996, Dr. Corea served for a total of seven years as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Electronics at the University of Peradeniya, and for four years as a Research Associate at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. He continues to serve as a member of the Board of Studies for Computing and Statistics at the Post Graduate Institute of Science. He has published a number of papers on the subject of industrial automation and control in international journals. He received first class honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, a Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. |
